Looking to sign up with only the best online marketing provider?
Ask any potential marketing partner the following questions and you really can’t go wrong:
With this question you are looking for the provider to really lay it on the line. If you’re told anything along the lines of “We are the best” or “Our rivals are rubbish” or indeed anything negative about rival brands, you’re heading down the wrong path. Instead, what you should be hearing from them is a concise and fully professional rationale as to why it is you should choose them. It could be that they have proven their worth a thousand times before, it could be that they guarantee the lowest prices, it could be that they are perfectly suited to your business type or it could be that they offer the most comprehensive list of services on the market today. Give them a chance to sell themselves to you and see how they fare.
What Guarantees Do You Offer?
Should this not be made apparently in the above, you should ask specifically about what they offer in terms of guarantees. You’re not looking for the world, but rather the peace of mind that comes with knowing all services you are paying out for are at least, to some extent, backed by guarantees. You need to know that they’re willing to put their money where their mouth is – most are, so don’t fall prey to one that isn’t.
And If I Change My Mind?
There should always be something of a trial period available whereby you can get a good idea of the services on offer and then ultimately decide whether or not you’re satisfied. More often than not this will come in the form of a 30-day period in which you can opt out of the contract without paying any fines. If they’re confident in their services enough to know you’ll stick around, where’s the harm?
Any Success Stories to Share?
A hugely important deciding factor you should always insist upon is case whether or not they have case studies and testimonials to share. If they have had previous success stories, then they will of course have case studies to back them up. No such case studies often suggests no real stories of great success to share and thus a provider you might be better off not bothering with. Don’t ever be afraid to ask or even to get in touch with the other firms they are currently doing business with, just to see what goes on in a real working setting.
Can I Get Back to You?
And finally, if you ever for one second feel you are being pressured into making a decision, walk away. The only reason they ever try to make your mind up on your behalf is when they realise the more time you have, the more you’ll realise you’d be better off elsewhere. As such, let them know you plan to compare the market and if they try to snag you with their “Just this one tie only” deals, take this as something of a cry of desperation.
