At Search and More we take pride in not only working with our clients but supporting them too. We have worked for several years with Roy Richardson, from PD print, so when they approached us and asked us to sponsor them, of course we said yes.

This is to raise money for Prostate Cancer; we know you will be generous if you can and we really appreciate that. We would like your company Logo on the car, please for a donation a minimum of £25.00, let me know, and we will provide a high quality image of your logo”.

I asked Roy why he chose Prostate cancer, and he told me that it’s to raise awareness of male cancer as he feels men are more closed and find it harder to talk about issues with either their GP or family.
It’s, not for personal reason as cancer touches all of us in some way, but purely to encourage men to check themselves out and don’t ignore any concerns.

As the website says- Prostate Cancer UK fights to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. We find answers by funding ground-breaking research, we lead change by raising the profile of the disease and improving care. And we support men by providing vital information and services.
Roy and his wife Kath told us “We’re taking part in the 2013 Motoscape Rally, which covers 9 countries in 7 days in a car bought for less than £300 and more than 15 years old – in our case a Vauxhall Omega. It promises to be a test of our age and endurance (no sat nav), spanners and ingenuity to traverse alpine passes, Italian parking and Slovenian backroads before arriving in Prague – and then having to get home again! Including the journey home, we aim to cross 13 countries in 10 days”.
