Goals and desired outcome: Ali is a full-time artist working in all media’s and subjects, with her work permanently exhibited at “The centre in Poynton” and frequently runs workshops for Art groups and Societies. Ali came to Search and More looking for a total website redesign as her old website was outdated and had not been brought up to date with her latest projects, workshops or portfolio.
Process: Search and More met with Ali numerous times before choosing a design around the ability to sell tickets and make a booking to one of Ali’s many workshops. The aim of ‘Ali’s Art’ was to put Ali and her talents on the map, in the online world. Ali’s Art needed to be more easily accessible online that her previous website, and also more viewer-friendly by choosing layouts and colour which were more appealing and clear visually.
End results: Ali’s Art now displays an up-to-date portfolio which shows Ali’s scope of mediums and subjects. Ali’s Art has a built-in booking system which is updated by Search and More with the most recent workshops and classes in and around the Stockport area and even abroad. This holds many benefits for recurring participants as they can be kept up to date and book there and then. The discoverability of Ali’s Art is now easier than ever as the new website is Google-friendly and has been built using WordPress for easy manageability and quick loading speed.
