Goals and desired outcome: Steven Glicher are an accountancy firm based in Cheadle Hulme, South Manchester and have been a client for around three years. Before coming to work with us the company received no enquiries from the web – despite having had a website for over ten years. The simple reason for the lack of enquiries was that the website wasn’t Google friendly – and as a consequence it wasn’t showing up in the search engines. The non-original content also used by other accountants failed to differentiate him from the rest and had massive SEO implications as well as offering a poor first impression to those who did land on the site.
Process: From the outset we identified that there was clearly a need for better content which was updated on a regular basis to keep Google happy, in turn making the site much more visible to potential clients. We write weekly articles for the Steven Glicher site which keeps content fresh and up to date as well as maintaining their status as knowledgeable professionals in the industry. More recently we oversaw a redesign of the website and the insertion of fresh new content overall.
End results: Steven Glicher’s presence online has increased ten-fold since starting to work with us. His visitor numbers have risen from 25 per month to on average over 500 per month, and the conversion rate is also impressive – as from these he has been averaging one new client per month.
